RYAN'S LEGACY
Ryan Oliver was a bright, compassionate, and deeply loved young man. Whether on the field, in the classroom, or with friends and family, he had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. His sudden passing in 2021 left a hole in the hearts of many, but also inspired a movement to keep his light shining.
Ryan's Team was created to honor his legacy through charitable giving, community events, and outreach programs. Every initiative we support is chosen with Ryan’s spirit in mind—hopeful, inclusive, and kind-hearted.

A Father's Pain
My son, Ryan, passed away at the age of 16 from suicide. Ryan was an amazing son. He was an avid lacrosse player, an A student, popular, and extremely caring. My family was picture perfect. We went on camping trips, Disney vacations, and endless beach trips. Everything was going great but Ryan was suffering in silence. He hid his pain so well that nobody noticed. On January 28, 2021 we woke up to a horrific site.
This was an experience that nobody should ever have to endure. Living through this experience is nothing short of impossible. This is my story of pain, depression, sadness, and growth. How does a father survive such an event? One day at a time. Throughout this book I explain my experiences following Ryan’s passing and how I survived and how I continue to survive. While my experience may not be true for all, it is my hope that my story can help those affected by such a horrific event.
